Sisters Weekend In Vegas!

So my sisters and I decided it was about time we hooked up and hung out with out our everyday life worries.. so we met up in Fabulous Las Vegas! Our first picture on the strip!

We were so excited that our elevator was pink that we forgot to hit our floor button and went all the way to the top. LOL come to find out all the elevators are pink...
Saw Donny!!
Went to The Cirque De Soleil Viva Elvis! What can I say... it was fabulous!

Awhhhh.. Elvis!
The strip is dirty=dirty feet
especially when you walk barefoot!
Hung out at the pool!
Got pooped on by a bird... its a curse!

Okay I swear I cropped this picture... oh well.. sorry
Angelene on the phone...again..
Did I mention we stayed at The Flamingo.. it was in the middle of the strip.
Ate dinner at Planet Hollywood and loved their color changing Disco Ball!
It was cheaper to buy a large cookie personalized than it was to get small cookies.
It was a great way to commemorate our weekend!

Attempted to reel in something at Margaritaville Restaurant

Angelene And Chelle super models on the strip

Our final walk down the strip until its off to the airport
Our final picture in the airport before we parted ways and I had to go to one end of the the terminal.
Thanks Angelene and Rachelle for the best weekend! I love you both so much and it meant alot to me that we got together!
p.s. I am also thankful for the intoxicated people that got kicked off the airplane and thus I was able to get on and come home!

Back To School!

Well here it is... time for the kids to go back to school and I am further behind than ever on my blog. My intentions are to post these first day of school 2010 pictures then do a medley of pics from our busy summer. Presley is in Mrs. Seltzer's 3rd grade class! She has absolutely loved her first few days of school!
Sydnee is in the 6th grade this year. She is on team Sharks at Clear Creek Middle School. So far it has been nothing but smiles and excitement. ( Her team will be attending outdoor school in a couple weeks and she came from the first day of school and said, " Mom, our team gets to go to camp Marijuana" She was close.. it's called Camp Arrah Wannah) :)
Syd is on the 6th grade volleyball team!
Madelynn is in the 7th grade this year, still on team Explorer @ CCMS. Maddy is playing fast pitch softball and their first fallball game is this weekend! Go Riptide! She is also on the school volleyball team.

Cole is a sophomore this year @ Gresham High, He is playing on the JV Football team.. they had their season opener last week against Sunset High and won 29-27. Their 2nd game is tonight vs Glencoe High... Go Gophers!!
Sierra is a Junior this year and is taking all IB(international Bachalorette) classes.. she has a tough schedule ahead of her but she is amazing.. I know she will have a great year. Sierra is also running Cross Country this year... her first meet is this saturday in Eugene. Go Sierra!!

Cole!!

Cole just finished his Freshman year at Gresham High School. He is in honors classes and did well. Cole also likes to stay busy doing fun stuff! Not so much into the whole chore thing! He got his stitches out the first day of no school.
This picture is a little blurry, sorry, he would not hold still for the picture. But they put strips on it because it was not quite healed and they chose to remove the stitches to minimize the scaring from them.

He is playing on the high school Summer team. That is cole at 3rd base...
They had a Wooden Bat Tournament at Barlow High, Friday night game they won, Cole is playing Center Field. We parked behind the field and sat in the back of our truck to watch the game.
Now in this Game Cole is playing left field.

It was actually a pretty warm weekend. In the 80's.
Sierra brought her friend Cassie.
They were able to get some sun at the same time as they "watched" the games
The kids all played kick ball in the park !

From left: Sydnee, Cole, Devlynn(on coles shoulders), Maddy, Sierra, Presley and Charmaine

Let the games begin!!!!

Madelynn Elsie!!

Madelynn survived her first year in Middle School. She averaged 97% in all of her classes and has a 4.0 GPA. Madelynn was the only 6th grader and 1 of 7 students from a student body of over 800 (consisting of 6-8th grades) that earned the Presidential Physical Fitness Award. This is no small task. It consists of everything from running the mile in a certain time, a certain amount of sit-ups, push-ups, the sit and reach and more. She was pretty excited that she earned it! It was one of her personal goals for the year. Way to go Maddy! YAY!! Schools out for Summer!

Maddy has plenty to keep her busy. Softball, a basketball camp and girls camp all in the first few weeks of summer! She likes to stay busy. (with fun stuff, not cleaning house or doing chores)

Summer Sizzler to Drizzler -dash- Father's Day Classic

The Summer Sizzler Softball Tournament @ North Clackamas June 5-6th, 2010
Saturday was a warm day upper 70's. It was gorgeous! The Riptide played 3 games. won the first game easily, lost the 2nd game by 2 runs, then won the 3rd game against the Mojo Angels 3-2. It was a phenomenal game! From the games we went to a good friends Luau Birthday Party. The family!
This is after their 3rd game against the Mojos (the girls have friends on that team)
Then Sunday the weather turned to drizzle, and rain and just plain nasty. They moved the games to the Turf fields. Riptide finished in 9th place in the gold bracket. The only comfort that came from that was the win against the Mojos, that ended up taking 2nd place.

Happy Father's Day to the best daddy ever!!! New ball caps, always a good gift. T-shirts, and a new watch. Love you Steven! You are the best!
The Riptide had another tournament that weekend "The Father's Day Classic"
@ Wilsonville High School (Turf Fields)
The girls put together a goody bag for their daddies!

Riptide went undefeated and took First place in the Gold Bracket! They only allowed 5 runs scored all games combined, and they scored 49 runs total!
The team recieved their tallest trophy this season and each of the girls got their own! The team Dads all agree that this was the best Father's Day gift!
